Worship Admin Assistant Position

Whitewater Crossing is currently accepting resumes for the newly created Worship Administrative Assistant position. The position is part-time (30 hours) and will oversee all administrative activities of the Worship Ministry, assist in the day-to-day operations and provide direct support to the Creative Arts, Service Programming, Production/Media purposes. Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of Ascent
In this seven-week class, we will explore Psalms 120-134, which traveling pilgrims sang enroute to the great festivals in Jerusalem. We will gain a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to greater intimacy with and worship of God. Each session will include a discussion of personal workbook assignments and a video presentation by author Beth Moore. Workbooks available at first session for $11.00. Faith Lessons: With All Your Heart
In this video study by Ray Vander Laan, we will journey through the biblical region that God’s people traveled on their way to the Promised Land. Each week we will learn a practical, life-changing faith lesson as we view the brief on location teaching and explore and discuss this in groups. An informal time of dessert and fellowship will follow the discussion. Each session is complete – join us for one or for all the lessons! No homework! No cost! Register online or at Ministry Center.

SPLASH – Summer Enrichment Program

Whitewater has partnered with Miamitown Elementary to provide a FREE summer enrichment program that includes tutoring, themed learning activities, and a nutritional lunch. Students entering 1st-4th grade will enjoy Reading, Writing, and Relationships from 10am-3pm, Thursdays on the following days:

July 26th

August 2nd

 

Daily Schedule will be as follows:

9:30am-noon: Faith-filled fun activities

Noon-1pm: Lunch

1pm-3pm: Academics and Tutoring
